For students age preschool through twelfth grade in or near the district who thrive in a small-school environment and for families who desire to have all children attend at one school building, Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School provides necessary life skills, comprehensive career and technical education, and exceptional extra-curricular programs that embrace forward thinking, leading technology and are directed by staff who are caring and supportive.
The Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School, together with parents and the community, will provide a supportive and caring, yet challenging environment. Students will have a variety of opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills (Iowa Core Curriculum, Core Content Standards), to learn to think creatively, and to act responsibly in order to meet the challenges of today and the opportunities of tomorrow (21st Century Skills).

Parti-time Food Service Assistant
Ruthven-Ayrshire has an openings for a part-time food service assistant for the 2024-25 School Year. This role involves assisting with lunch service and cleanup in a PK-12 school environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in a school setting, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and efficient dining experience for our students. Substitute Paras
Ruthven-Ayrshire has an openings for substitute para professionals for the 2024-25 School Year. Substitute paraprofessionals receive a complimentary lunch and $100 for an 8-hour work day. Applicants may fill out the employment application or contact Courtney Cook, Principal.
