Welcome to Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School!

Welcome to the Ruthven-Ayrshire website!  Here you will find information regarding the staff, students, and communities that comprise this outstanding district.  Please take some time to scan the multiple documents, links, and announcements available.  The great deal of information available is continually being updated to provide our educational community with reliable and pertinent data and insight.

The staff at Ruthven-Ayrshire works diligently to provide the highest quality of education in the safest physical and social environment, and we invite you to be a part of this.  Being involved in your school through volunteering, sharing ideas and concerns, and supporting our students is paramount to the success of our district.  Helping to prepare our current students for a future of employment, civic duty, and social responsibility takes more than some buildings and books.  It takes a unified and caring community that places the needs and interests of our children at the pinnacle of our collective priorities.

Through a unique and valuable relationship with the Graettinger-Terril CSD, Ruthven-Ayrshire has been able to expand opportunities for the students we serve and maintain the strong fiscal responsibility necessary to ensure that quality education continues into the future.  With a completely implemented 1:1 technology approach, some of the best facilities available anywhere, and a caring and devoted staff, the students of Ruthven-Ayrshire are supported and challenged to achieve at high levels.

Without a doubt, schools are both the backbone and reflection of a community, and Ruthven-Ayrshire has many opportunities for pride in the educational system.  With the assets of excellent students, forward-thinking leadership, dedicated staff, and supportive community, the district has created an environment of learning, caring, and responsibility.  This shared commitment to students is what every school strives to achieve.  Through challenging learning opportunities, quality activities, and social support, our students are able to develop their skill sets in order to reach their individualized personal goals and become successful, important members of society.
